A well known business in my society is marriage.The best way for a guy to settle in his life with property and a girl to look after him and his property ( in the name of gift from his in-laws)
For about 20-25 years parents look after their girl child.Then comes this age where the girl is all set for a custom called marriage.
This is the time where she is done with her studies and she is into job.There she dreams about a hell lot of things like
..helping her parents financially
..to fulfill her own dreams
..to some extent help the society
but all these thoughts are shattered just when the big occassion starts marching towards her...
Once bonded...she have to sacrifice all her dreams (atleast most of them on her list)
..not allowed to help her parents financially because "now she hav to think abt her own family"
..society is no more in her dictionary.
n more over the way "marriage is organized" my god!!!
the girls parents have to spend lacks n lacks ...by selling everything what they have acquired in years...

MARRIAGE is directly proportional to "sondha selavula suniyam vachikkaradhu" (I love this dialogue :P)
The concept of marriages in my society is weired and I so wish Rajaram Mohan Roy was here to solve this issue.
PS: im not talking abt that 1% guys who actually support their wives who let their dreams come true.I wholeheartedly respect them.. kudos to such great MEN....im talking about the rest 99%..
