Just a thought...

Just a thought...

Why does a primary school teacher is paid very less when compared to high school teachers and lectures????

I agree mom is the first teacher. But once schooling starts I guess its the primary teacher who will play a major role in the kids future.

They are the ones who corrects our mistakes and with full patience they teach us the basics of addition ,sub.multiplication and division which we stick on till our death. They are the ones who make us learn the language be it ABCDE or a aa e ee... or as a matter of fact who teach us how to hold pencils. They are the ones who teach us "How To pronounce the words" and they are the ones who make our handwritings perfect..they make our interests, be it drawing ,sports, dance or academics..they are the ones who handled us carefully whem we refused to do our homeworks.they taught our basic morals, discipline , et all. They punished us for what is wrong and appreciated us for small little good things we did at the age of 4-5.Above all they are the ones who are responsible for what we are now!!!!

But an high school teacher or a lecturer with Phd care less..I must say very less. They have absolutely no patience at all.Trust me.They have absolutely 0^0 patience( read as zero to the power Zero and mathematically i have no idea about the value of this .it could be either 0 or 1.But i consider it as 0).When our basics are clear we could go upon any degree to reach our goal.Either you take the help of the high school teacher or your lecturer. It does not matter.Even with out them you can achieve your destination. They are serve very little these days.Logically they are just expanding their knowledge.

I am not against lectures. I just want to make things clear that they pay very less attention to students. They actually think we are grown ups and we can handle ourselves.Yes!!very true. But the person incharge for our development is definitely lower primary teachers.

But I salute the primary teachers who could see us what we are and who molded us for what we are now.

:) I just wish if they were overpaid than these phd holding lectures who exist for a very minimal purpose.

Am i really that jobless!!!!

Tamizh senthamizh maanadu...

Tamizh senthamizh maanadu... well i'm proud of this event...but there are lots more to be done in this nation.I understand the importance of what a classical language means!! but I guess this is not the right time to celebrate it.Seems to be little odd..There are so many issues with in teh country..OK forget country ..at least concentrate on the state...

Me belonging to the same state.. the first thing which i hate in the state is the way they give importance to the language..I understand its your mother tongue you need to respect it.But it doesn't mean you should not learn other language or use any other language...
Man!! we live in INDIA..not in China or Japan... we have varied languages all over the country... I don't think any one will ever sit in their own state for survival..its time to move on.
I guess we need to be more practical regarding this.

I know many students just because they cannot speak English they don't get job.Damn it..do these authorities even consider this issue.Few years back one engineering student committed suicide for the same reason.Does this even bother them.. N not to be surprised they educate their kinds and grand kids in a english medium school. Why don't they send them to the tamizh medium school id they are so patriotic about language...

I know there is absolutely no point cribbing about such things...
felt like screaming all these stuffs to the authorities there... which is anyway not possible..so writing it here..

NEVER MIND :)

attitude matters....

( again a fwd :) )

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what you learned from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered:

"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have

a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless

Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have. Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

"Life is too short and friends are too few."

When I saw U

( source : unknown .. i liked it.. so i'm posting it here :D)

When I saw your name next to mine,
In our wedding card,
I felt blessed.

When I saw you smile,
Seeing me in the traditional bride groom dress,
I felt teased.

When I held your hand,
During the marriage rituals,
I felt responsible.

When you entered my lonely bachelor life,
And changed it into a heavenly abode,
I felt lucky.

When you showed the same love as I did,
Towards my parents,
I felt proud.

When you scolded me,
For neglecting my heath amidst my hectic work,
I felt pampered.

When I saw you scream,
Crying out of labor pains,
I felt helpless.

When I saw tears of happiness in your eyes,
As you looked at our kid,
I felt blessed once again.

All these feeling have bloomed in my heart,
But are yet to blossom in reality.
As these are feelings I long to feel,
For these are still unfelt.

Will you marry me?
